A compact 2 HP three-screen seed and grain cleaner engineered for low maintenance, fast cleanout, and flexible installation. Up to 250 BPH market cleaning in a portable or stationary footprint. Supplied and supported across Western Canada by Vistasort.
The Clipper Eclipse 334 is the second in AT Ferrell's Eclipse line of compact air and screen cleaners — designed specifically to meet the low-maintenance and fast-cleanout requirements of today's seedsman. It fills the need for a conveniently sized, versatile cleaner that can be used as either a portable unit moved between farms or installed permanently in a commercial seed plant.
At 85" tall, 53" wide, and 77" long, the Eclipse 334 weighs just 1,835 lbs and runs on a single 2 HP motor. It delivers up to 250 bushels per hour in market cleaning mode, and up to 120 BPH for precision seed cleaning — making it suitable for on-farm operations, certified seed producers, and small-to-mid-scale commercial seed plants across Western Canada.
The Eclipse 334 processes product through three staged separation steps — removing oversized material, undersized material, and lightweight contaminants in sequence for a clean, uniform finished product.
Grain or seed enters the Eclipse 334 through the surge hopper, which connects directly to an auger or vibratory conveyor. Adjustable feed rate controls ensure a consistent, uniform stream onto the top screen deck.
The top screen removes material larger than the desired seed. Oversized material — straw, clods, and large foreign matter — is scalped off and exits the front of the machine, while good product falls through to the decks below.
The two lower screen decks are configurable in split-sift or scalp-sift arrangement. Trash, weed seeds, foreign material, and split seed drop through while clean, full-size product passes over and exits to the discharge.
After screening, product is routed through a positive column of air from the bottom fan. This removes lightweight trash, chaff, and dust that mechanical screening alone cannot separate — delivering clean, market-ready product.
Throughout the entire cleaning run, rubber balls bounce continuously against the underside of each screen, dislodging plugged seed and preventing screen blinding — maintaining consistent throughput without operator intervention.
Built for the practical realities of Western Canadian seed cleaning — easy to move, fast to clean out, and reliable over many seasons of hard use.
At 53" wide × 77" long × 85" tall and 1,835 lbs, the Eclipse 334 moves easily between farm locations or installs permanently in a commercial seed plant — a rare combination of portability and commercial-grade build quality.
Rubber balls bounce continuously against each screen's underside during operation, preventing the screen blinding that reduces throughput and separation quality — without stopping the machine or requiring operator action.
A positive column of air from the bottom fan removes lightweight trash, chaff, and dust after screening. Air intake is adjustable to fine-tune separation for your specific crop weight and aerodynamic profile.
Specifically engineered for minimal maintenance and fast cleanout between seed lots — critical for multi-crop operations and certified seed production where cross-contamination control is essential to lot integrity.
Tubular steel frame with balanced counter-throw minimizes vibration and mechanical wear. The 13-ply marine-grade hardwood laminate shoe delivers long service life even in demanding continuous operation environments.
Clipper offers over 150 perforated metal and wire cloth screen sizes to accommodate virtually all agricultural commodities — from fine grass seed to large edible beans, corn, and specialty crops grown across Western Canada.

The Eclipse 334's 150+ screen options and adjustable air separation handle virtually all Western Canadian seed and grain commodities.
Excels at market and precision cleaning of cereal crops. Removes scalped material, siftings, and lightweight material in a single pass — meeting grade requirements for wheat, barley, oats, rye, and durum.
Lentils, peas, chickpeas, and edible beans can be precision-cleaned with the right screen selection. The adjustable air column removes lightweight splits and foreign material without affecting whole, healthy seed.
Fine-screen configurations for canola and small oilseeds take advantage of the adjustable air system, which can be fine-tuned to the aerodynamic profile of small, lightweight oilseed varieties.
The Eclipse 334's portability makes it especially popular for on-farm grass and forage seed cleaning — moved to each producer's location for harvest cleaning with the air system tuned to each variety's weight range.
For certified seed production, the easy cleanout design is essential — eliminating volunteer seed between varieties quickly and thoroughly before restarting with the next seed lot on the cleaning schedule.
In fixed commercial installations, the Eclipse 334 serves as a pre-cleaning or secondary cleaning stage — handling overflow volumes or operating as a first-pass machine before a larger precision cleaner downstream.
Understanding where the Eclipse 334 fits in the Clipper product line — and when to step up to a larger machine for your operation.
Three 34" × 34" screen decks. 2 HP motor. 1,835 lbs. Portable or stationary. Ideal for on-farm seed cleaning and small-to-mid seed plants handling moderate volumes.
54"-wide screens with 6,400 CFM fan. Two configurable flow patterns. For operations that have outgrown the Eclipse line and need higher-volume commercial cleaning.
Two 86" screen decks. Used as the first stage in multi-step cleaning lines before precision cleaners downstream. High throughput, high volume.
