What began as a connection between customers and quality machinery has grown into a full design-build partner for seed and grain processing facilities. Today, Vistasort provides custom systems for cleaning, sorting, treating, conveying, and packaging, backed by experienced support from planning through installation and startup.

Every crop cleans differently. Our seed and grain equipment is configured in Saskatoon around the crop you run, the contaminants you need removed and the grade you are aiming for.

Cereal

Wheat, barley, oats and durum. Aspiration, screening, LMC gravity separators, indent separators, destoners and VistaSort optical color sorters work together to remove wild oats, ergot and other contaminants that hold back your grade.

Edible Beans/Pulses

Lentils, peas, beans and chickpeas. LMC destoners remove stones that screens can’t catch, while sizing, gravity separation, color sorting and polishing give your product the export-ready finish premium markets expect.

Specialty Crops

Canola, mustard, flax, sunflower and canary seed. Fine wire mesh screens, spiral separators and dehulling handle small seed where weed seeds match the crop in size and weight.

Grass/Forages

Small, light and hard-to-flow seed. Gentle LMC vibratory conveyors, screening, gravity separation and disc or spiral separators clean grass and forage seed to certified seed purity standards.

What does Vistasort do?

Vistasort supplies and supports seed and grain processing equipment for cleaning, optical color sorting, seed treating, conveying, packaging and palletizing. We also design and build complete seed plants, with support from planning through installation and startup.

Where is Vistasort located?

Our office and shop are at 835-58th Street East in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We serve farmers, seed plants and processors across Canada and North America.

Which equipment lines does Vistasort carry?

We supply and support a wide range of equipment lines, including VistaSort optical color sorters, LMC, Clipper, Carter Day, KSi, Fischbein, nVenia and Fuji Robotics. Tell us what you need and we will recommend the right equipment for your crop and capacity.

Can I test my crop on a color sorter before I buy?

Yes. Free lab sample testing is available. Ship a sample of your crop to our Saskatoon lab and we will run it through a VistaSort optical color sorter and show you the results.
